Yes! Machine washing is perfectly fine and super convenient. Just use a delicate or wool cycle, cold water (30°C or below), and turn them inside out. We recommend popping them in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection. It's that easy!

No! Never use a tumble dryer – the heat will shrink the Merino wool fibres and damage your socks. Always air dry flat on a clean towel or drying rack, away from direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight. We know it takes a bit longer, but your Swoollies will thank you by lasting for years!

Not if you care for them properly! Our special blend is designed to maintain its shape beautifully when washed in cold water and air dried flat. Hot water and tumble drying are the enemies of wool – avoid those and your Swoollies will stay perfect wash after wash.

Yes, we recommend using a wool-specific detergent. Regular detergent can be too harsh for Merino wool fibres and may damage the natural properties that make your socks so special. Wool detergent is gentle, helps maintain softness, and keeps your Swoollies in top condition. You can find wool detergent at most supermarkets or online!

Thanks to Merino wool's natural antimicrobial and odor-resistant properties, you don't need to wash after every wear! Generally, you can wear them 2-3 times (or even more!) before washing. Just air them out between wears. This is better for the socks, saves you time and energy, and is kinder to the planet. Win-win-win!

We ship from the United Kingdom, sending out cosy Swoollies to happy feet across the country!

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only. This means no customs delays, no unexpected fees, no international hassles – just straightforward, reliable delivery from us to yours!

We work Monday to Friday and do our very best to dispatch orders the same day if placed before 10am, or the next working day. Orders placed after 10am on Friday will be shipped on Monday. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 2-3 working days via Royal Mail Tracked service. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships so you can follow its journey!

Important: We want you to try them on at home just like you would in a shop – but they need to be in resellable condition (not worn hard for days). Items must be clean, unwashed, with tags attached. If you've accidentally removed tags but never wore them, that's fine – just let us know!

It's a simple process:

2. Let us know what you'd like to return or exchange
3. Send us photos so we can quickly assess the condition
4. Once approved, we'll send you your return label, return instructions and packing guidelines
5. For exchanges, we'll wait to receive your return before sending out the new item

We provide prepaid return labels for all returns to make the process as smooth as possible. For exchanges (different size or colour), returns are completely free. For refunds, we deduct £3.95 from your refund to cover return shipping costs.

If something's not quite right due to a fault or mistake on our end, we'll absolutely cover all costs whether you'd like a refund or exchange. Simply email us at info@swoollies.co.uk with photos and your order number so we can assess the issue, and we'll take care of everything from there.
